Textural Abstract

Textural Abstract follows the way a surface records contact, drag, and compression. Broad black passages hold traces of abrasion; violet ridges reveal a concentrated vertical movement; a pale field gathers into shallow creases. Each digital studio study gives texture a different role in organizing light, weight, and open space.

Friction Register — Digital studio study.

A broad black field is crossed by uneven silver-gray horizontal streaks and ends at a broken white area along the bottom.
Violet ridges rise near the left center against a deep purple field, with a narrow pale-pink exposure low on the passage.

Violet Shear — Digital studio study.

Fine creases cluster toward the lower left of a pale green-white surface and fade into open space at the upper right.

Compression Margin — Digital studio study.
